If you have ever used a magicJack calling device for making local and long distance phone calls, then I know that you will love the new magicJack Plus that can be used with or without a computer!

magicJack Plus is a unique internet voice-calling device that gives you the ability to call anyone in the U.S. or Canada for free anytime and anywhere with or without a phone line. Along with being able to make free phone calls, magicJack Plus also gives free directory assistance, call waiting, caller ID, voicemail, and a phone number- all for free! You can still enjoy the benefits of using the basic magicJack Plus that plugs into your computer, but with the magicJack Plus you can also plug the device into any phone jack and get the same benefits of saving money on long distant phone calls.

If you have contemplated getting rid of your landline connection because of steep phone bills, the magicJack Plus may just be exactly what you have been looking for. It is very easy to use and can literally save you up to $1,000 a year.

I was given the opportunity to try this wonderful device and I was surprised with how easy it was to plug the device into my computer and use within minutes.  I could not figure out how to use it without a computer, but I am sure that it can be connected to a phone line and router using an Ethernet cord, which is provided, without the need to plug into a computer.

If you would like keep your existing landline connection, you can still use the device to save money on long distance phone calls by no longer needing to pay your local landline provider for a long distance calling plan. One thing that I noticed is that sometimes the reception is not always good when calling someone in another state or if there is some kind of interference in the internet line. This has happened on different occasions.  For example, I was talking to someone on my phone while using the device. My phone is new, so I do not think that it was the phone, but the person on the other end of the line would tell me that they could not hear me very well, even when I tried to speak louder, however this is not a regular occurrence and has only happened a few times. The problem may be with some minor issues with my ISP, which can affect an internet phone connection, because the device needs a good, stable internet connection to function properly. Other than that one issue, I have been extremely happy with the results that I have had using the magicJack Plus. It is so easy to use and it saves me a lot of money.

The first year of use is free, but it is $19.95 per year thereafter.  In my opinion, is well worth the price and is hundreds of dollars less than a traditional landline long distance plan.

On the official magicJack Plus website, they are currently offering a 100% risk free trial to try it before you buy it.  I am not sure how long this offer will last, but it is a great opportunity to try magicJack Plus and experience all that it provides.
